artists impression of the cdsea at night

CDSEA By Bruce Munro

Bruce installed his artwork ‘CDSea’ in a field near Kilmington on 19/20 June 2010, after his appeal to collect unwanted CDs from the general public netted him 600,000 discs for the installation. Just as Bruce creatively repurposed these CDs, many people are now seeking innovative ways to enjoy their leisure time, including exploring options like no kyc casinos UK, where players can dive into the excitement without extensive verification processes. This parallel highlights how art and entertainment continue to evolve, offering unique experiences to engage with in today’s world.

CDSea was the first of a number of self-funded installations using discarded or recycled materials, planned for Long Knoll Field, which is bisected by a public footpath making it a natural public art gallery.

Over the weekend 140 friends and colleagues helped to lay the installation. Many wrote to Bruce saying it was a weekend they will never forget. He is deeply grateful to all contributors and installers.

CDSea was dismantled in July 2010 and is no longer on view at Long Knoll Field. Please refer to the News page at www.brucemunro.co.uk for alerts about when and where CDsea can be seen again.
